Horse Racing Tips

1:30 Cobblers Dream @7/2

2:05 Broomfield Burg @9/2, Galore Desassences @20/1

2:40 Frero Banbou @5/1

3:15 Major Dundee @5/1, Up The Straight @18/1, Poppa Poutine @12/1

3:35 Eldorado Allen @9/2

Todays racing is at Ascot and Wetherby, see's the National Hunt season really kick in to gear and begin. The main race of the day is at Wetherby with the Charlie Hall Chase run over 3m 1f group 2 chase. Some of the big chasing names take the field, we have gone with Eldorado Allen as the two favs don't meet the most trends, this horse also has a really good reappearance record to back up the trends which is a nice addition. The 2:40 at Ascot is a interesting race with Amoola Gold going for a hat trick in the race, well kind of as the horse was disqualified for band substances last year, so although the horse is weighted better we can't see it winning if there were some underhand goings on at play, Amoola Gold is also too old according to the trends and doesn't meet the most trends. We go with Frero Banbou who has the optimum profile for the race and was 3rd (4th) last year, the main concern is the Venetia Williams stable form and if the ground was saturated we would be a lot more confident. The first race of the day at Ascot is a brilliant one to watch with the exciting start Goshen running, Gary Moore has a good recent record in the race but Goshen doesn't hit the most trends and we go with Cobblers Dream but we are really excited to see how Goshen takes to fences. Our guess is he will either be really amazing or really hopeless, he doesn't do in-between normally.
